AI styling assistant for clothing stores

Looks from your racks.Taste from your staff.

MiseStyle runs on an iPad on your shop floor. It notices when a customer walks in, builds outfits only from what you have in stock, follows each stylist’s own notes and helps your team talk with visitors in ten languages.

Built for the shop floor

Six things MiseStyle does on your shop floor, shown with AI-generated visuals and a sample catalog.

01

Notices a customer, not who they are

When someone appears in the entrance camera, MiseStyle opens a visit card and reads only the visible clothing. The head is removed on the iPad first and raw video is never uploaded. No face recognition, and no guesses about age, body or identity.

Photo-based AI figures · Illustrative demos, not live footage or app recordings.

02

Only what you can hand over

Outfits are built from items that are in stock in your store right now, with shelf, size and price from your catalog. Tap “Another look” and the AI tries a new combination; earlier looks stay one swipe away.

03

Each stylist writes their own taste

Every staff member keeps a short style note on the iPad — up to 800 characters. The AI follows the brand’s styling rules first, then the note of the stylist serving the customer.

04

Ten languages, one shop floor

Customer and staff simply talk. The assistant translates both ways, can change the outfit on screen, check sizes and stock, and note what the customer wants to buy. Prices come only from your catalog; discounts, payment and order confirmation stay with your staff.

The assistant supports these ten customer languages with Japanese-speaking staff.

Synthetic demo voice · The MiseStyle server uses a 24-hour retention window for conversation text and removes expired records when a new conversation is requested. Replies are read aloud in a synthetic voice by default; a cloned voice is only used with its owner’s consent.

05

See it on before the fitting room

If a store turns it on, MiseStyle renders a try-on image for each look and a silent five-second 360° view. It is off by default. Using a customer’s own likeness is a separate setting that needs their consent. The MiseStyle server cleans up photos and generated media using a 24-hour retention window. Active tasks may delay cleanup; external generation services have separate retention rules.

06

Picked, held, paid at your POS

Staff can swap pieces, scan a tag or search stock, then confirm the order. Confirmed items are held in stock and a short visit code goes into your POS note. MiseStyle never takes payment on the iPad.

Respect for the people in your store

Privacy decisions that are built into how MiseStyle works.

  1. 01

    No face recognition

MiseStyle notices that someone is there, not who they are. Walk-in customers are never enrolled as members.

  2. 02

    Clothes only

The head is cropped away on the iPad before clothing is analysed. Raw camera video is not uploaded.

  3. 03

    Nothing guessed about the person

No inference of age, body, gender, nationality or income. Suggestions are about clothes.

  4. 04

    Likeness only with consent

Try-on with a customer’s own face is off by default and needs their consent. The MiseStyle server cleans up photos and generated media using a 24-hour retention window. Active tasks may delay cleanup; external generation services have separate retention rules.

  5. 05

    A short memory

The MiseStyle server uses a 24-hour retention window for conversation text and removes expired records when a new conversation is requested.

Questions

Does MiseStyle recognise faces or identify customers?

No. It detects a person to open a visit and analyses only a clothing crop with the head removed on the iPad. It does not identify anyone, and walk-ins are not enrolled as members.

What do we need in the store?

An iPad running the MiseStyle app with a view of your entrance. The same iPad switches to a customer display when staff want to show looks. Pilot details are agreed with each store.

How does it know what’s in stock?

Your catalog and stock sync through our catalog connector, and staff can search stock or scan a tag. Items in a confirmed order are held until checkout or the end of the business day.

Does the AI set prices or close sales?

No. Prices come from your catalog. Discounts, payment, returns and order confirmation always stay with your staff, and payment happens on your existing POS.

Which languages does the store assistant speak?

It helps Japanese-speaking staff talk with customers in Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Cantonese, English, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Spanish and French. This website is available in 16 languages.

Are these real photos or app recordings?

The figures are generated with AI from reference photos. Try-on images, 360° views and interfaces are illustrations, not photos of actual fittings or app recordings. Using a person’s likeness requires their consent.

What does it cost?

Pilot terms are agreed individually. Tell us about your store in the application and we will discuss them with you.

How do store purchases reach a shopper’s closet?

Only with the shopper’s consent. After buying at a participating store and agreeing, the pieces are added to their closet without retyping anything.
